Elisabeth Wildling has been an artistic and scientific associate at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, at the Institute of Fine Arts and Media Arts and at the Institute of Design since 2005. She studied Design [P. Piva] and Visual Media [P. Weibel] at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. She had a Scholarship at the Elisava Escola Superior de Disseny, in Barcelona, and a participation at the Research Project „AIM“- advanced interface media (LED Technology). She conducts research in art and philosophy since 2017. Currently she is a project supervisor and lecturer in design, projection and installation. Her artistic work focuses on the changing perception of space and time, using visual and cinematic techniques. Her work has been shown in national and international contexts e.g. Chemistry of life, Globart Academy, former Sammlung Essl Klosterneuburg (A) "Un/Controlled Spaces, Festival Moving Out, Greenock/Glasgow (GB), Presence and Appearance, Universalmuseum Joanneum / Schloss Trautenfels, (A) and the Shanghai Design Biennale, Powerstation of Art, „go on“(CN), Parcours des Erinnerns/The Vienna Project, Public Space – Danube Canal Vienna, Past Present Times/Festspielhaus St. Pölten (A), Spatial Introversion/electric avenue, MQ Vienna (A), Endless Dialogue/Galerie Raum mit Licht Vienna (A), CONNECTED – listen to the other side/Galerie Lisi Hämmerle Bregenz (A). She took part at artist residencies in Sri Lanka, India and New Zealand.
